Novenas |
Throughout the year various
novenas of Masses are offered at the shrine.
During this time special novena
prayers are recited at the shrine during this nine day period.
The Novenas of Masses for 2008 are:

Saint Joseph The feast of Saint Joseph is on March 19. He is the Foster-father of Jesus and patron of fathers and the Universal Church.
Divine Mercy Novena: On Good Friday, 1937, Jesus requested Blessed Faustina to make a special novena before the Feast of Mercy, from Good Friday through the following Saturday. He, Himself dictated the intentions for each day. By means of a specific prayer she was to bring to His Heart a different group of souls each day and thus immerse them in the ocean of His mercy, begging the Father--on the strength of Jesus' Passion--for graces for them.
Mothers Day Novena: This novena is offered in remembrance of our mothers both living and deceased.
Father's Day Novena: This novena is offered in remembrance of our fathers both living and deceased.
Precious Blood Novena: This novena is in honor of the Precious and Life-giving Blood of Jesus Christ. It is through the Blood of Christ that sins are forgiven and reconciliation is achieved. There is tremendous power in the Blood of Christ.
Assumption of the Mother of God Novena: This novena prepares us to celebrate the feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Mother into heaven.
The Sorrowful Mother Novena is the principle novena at the shrine. This novena remembers the seven sorrows of the Blessed Mother and ends on the feast itself: September 15th.
Saint Gaspar del Bufalo Novena:
This novena is to St. Gaspar the Herald of the Precious Blood and founder of the Missionaries of the Precious Blood. In many ways he was like St. Padre Pio.All Souls Novena: This novena remembers all who have "fallen asleep in the Lord": all of our relatives, friends and all who have died.
Christmas Novena: This novena is to the Divine Christ Child in preparation for His nativity, Christmas December 25th.
